I loved this place. I'm planting a native garden and found so many of the plants from my list. The shrubs especially were plentiful and it was reassuring that everything here is good for MD gardening.

The nursery is fabulous - stocked with a great variety of native plants and staffed by extremely knowledgeable and friendly people. The attached shop is a magical trove of artisan and vintage objects that was a delight to explore. We went for a rain garden class, and that was slightly underwhelming. Definitely good, helpful, basic information, but a bit dry with no hands-on demonstrations. We'll definitely return again and again for the plants.

I just can’t say enough about this wonderful excellent service. Lauren has been working with native plants for decades now and she knows what she’s talking about. She has created a flower garden in place of my front lawn a rain garden on the side of the house to capture water runoff And a shade garden in the back where not much grows. The shade garden is now in full bloom. Lauren is an expert on native plants and where to plant them. She’s an expert on eco gardening. She has a knowledgeable staff who do professional work I love to go to her shop in Ellicott City and just see what’s in stock, to walk around and talk to her employees and to visit the charming shop she has with all sorts of gardening wonders.

My wife and I have been on a journey to establish a native plant garden. It's very difficult to find any local businesses selling native plants. Unfortunately people seem to prefer Asian imported invasive "Folex" plants at Lowes instead of actual "Rolex" plants. Enter Lauren's. We were able to find all of the nutrition and ecosystem supporting native plants that we needed to build a landscape that ensures we're doing our part to keep an ecosystem alive. We will definitely be back to shop for more plants and other items. Keep up the excellent work Lauren!

Such an amazing place to find native plants! Lauren and team were so helpful and friendly. They have a nice selection of straight species and cultivars and have been growing and expanding their inventory and offerings. I love that they post their inventory online so I have a sense for what might be available before making the trip out there (though of course the inventory is updated weekly and some plants sell out quickly). Also, prices are reasonable and you can buy plugs (seedlings) if you are patient enough to wait for them to grow. Looking forward to many return visits in the future. Please keep up the great work here!
